To Prevent Amputations, Doctors Call for Aggressive Care

In this article on diabetic amputations, Vivian Ho mentions the short supply of specialists to perform limb-saving operations as an alternative to amputation.  Ho points out the race disparity in the supply of specialists who treat patients at risk of amputations in North America and discusses the economic incentives needed to resolve this issue.
