In the Insurance Debate, the Dollars and Sense of Children’s Health Care

This guest column by Lan Bentsen dated September 9, 2009, was published in several Houston community newspapers, including the Bellaire Examiner. In it, Bentsen addresses the need for all of the children in the U.S. to be covered by health insurance, and he quotes from a study by Vivian Ho which showed that covering all children would be cost-saving to society in the long run.
